The Priest and the Princess, at First They Meet

"You are so scary" He said,
"Your hair burns with the indignation of the L-rd's fire..."
I came in indignant
But not raging.

"Your eyes burn like red hot coals..."
But my gaze was not burning through him.

"Your countenance like a flaming sword...
What have I done?"
You have done nothing to harm me.

"Why do your eyes burn like the stars,
and shake the earth like a trembling quake?"

"Why does your hair burn with the incense of my G-d,
that I, a man, should feel the fear of the L-rd?"

"Why would you walk in with this authority,
and not know that here, you are safe?"

But I did not know...

"Why then, would you come here?"

I come that I may know, and taste, and see,
Freely observe and freely receive,
That I should feel no pain and sorrow.

"Why do you frighten me, so?"

Because I know not of your garden...
But the prison camp in which we were held.

And how are you different?

"Because I know not of your garden...
The prison camp in which you were held..."

And then we walked away.

Do not feed the flesh...

If you're willing to compromise your faith for one issue, then there is no sense in not compromising it for the rest of the sin you wish you could be doing... Every page of the bible has the promises and love of G-d written clearly in the texts; if after nearly 2,000 pages of the L-rd professing His love to you, then how can you live with the title of "Heir to the Throne of the G-d Most High," yet still feed your flesh?

This is His Temple; in His broken Temple, my faith is firmly founded... Because He rebuilt His temple in three days.

Do not allow temptation to rule your life.

Likewise, do not be so quick witted that you forget to respect those who have yet to overcome... Do not have compassion on the folly of their ways, but have compassion on who they are in Messiah, that they will continue to learn and grow. Do not rebuke without knowing the Master, whom you serve...

ס Samekh

113 I hate double-minded people,
but I love your law.
114 You are my refuge and my shield;
I have put my hope in your word.
115 Away from me, you evildoers,
that I may keep the commands of my God!
116 Sustain me, my God, according to your promise, and I will live;
do not let my hopes be dashed.
117 Uphold me, and I will be delivered;
I will always have regard for your decrees.
118 You reject all who stray from your decrees,
for their delusions come to nothing.
119 All the wicked of the earth you discard like dross;
therefore I love your statutes.
120 My flesh trembles in fear of you;
I stand in awe of your laws.
Psalm 119:113-120, NIV.

A Post from Facebook, Not for the Faint of Heart...

...I'm just not sure why young men and women seem to think it's "okay" to sell their bodies for a (comparatively) small profit, when in reality, they're just selling their souls... To be quite honest, I can't wait for the adventure of making love with a spiritually clean and pure man, who desires nothing but the Will of the L-rd... Not a sexual adventure, but a spiritual one of realizing that both G-d AND man can love in the same nature. I'm not trying to be graphic, but this world doesn't make sense to me... and it's actually quite sad.
 - Taken in response to a post from my Facebook page.

It's true... there's absolutely no sense in the sale of something  so precious, something we only have one of (in the world!), and something that was a gift to us from the L-rd G-d of hosts of angel armies.  To any and all young men and women who read this blog: Do NOT conform to this world!  Let G-d give you the adventures with your husband/wife; let G-d give you the "thrills"; let G-d guide you and tell the difference between the Sacred  and profane.  There is no sense in compromising your body, your love, your preferences and your heart to seek something that cannot be fulfilled... Women, please know that other girls can be just as abusive, vicious, and manipulating as men...  Do not be satisfied with the world.

If you call yourself a Christian or a Jew, then live what is written in the Law concerning your people; do NOT take your own person in vain by taking the Laws given by the Sovereign L-rd and making them less than G-dly; for He is not of our making.  He s Sovereign and Holy.

He is our G-d, and we are His people.

News from France

*Due to the massive amounts of news I have been receiving from friends, and third-party media sites, I will endeavor to post important news articles / videos along with my own thoughts and writings.  Thanks for your loyal readership!*

As many of you know, I have been planning out my career for the last year in archaeology, as well as pursuing my studies in the french language and culture.  More and more I hear of disturbing reports of antisemitism from friends in Israel, as well as all over the world.  I would like to share this recent article with all of you, to save from any unneeded rant and  bias.  This is a video clip of a march in France, and whether the article is completely accurate or not, what is shown in the clip is, at least, disturbing.  Even for the non-Jews, there will not likely be lasting peace if people choose to act on hate:

"Look How Wonderful (A Mourner's Kaddish)"

(I have posted this song before, but felt it was fitting for the topic of this post:
"Hoshiana" by Joshua Aaron)

May His Great Name be exalted and sanctified; amen.  In the world that He created as He Willed, may He give reign to His Kingship in our lifetime and in our days, and in the lifetime of the families of Israel. Swiftly and soon, now say: Amen.  May His Great Name be blessed forever, and ever.  Blessed, praised, glorified, extolled, Mighty, upraised, and lauded be the Name of the Holy One. Blessed is He beyond any blessing and song, praise and consolation are uttered in the world. Now say: Amen.  May there be abundant peace from Heaven,  and life upon us and upon Israel, now say: Amen.  He who makes peace in the heights, may He make peace upon us and upon all Israel.  Now say: Amen.

Look how wonderful these walls used to be
They spoke for themselves
We never needed signs and wonders
They spoke for themselves

The temple shined with magnificence
Testimony

We never needed signs and wonders

Now look upon the graffiti gold
How they scream, "I AM RIGHTEOUS!"
Look upon the stained glass floor
With juice, coffee, or blood
Sherds to be walked upon

And even tears

The ark made a fool...
Such mortal lions guarding the gates of G-d
The backwards testimony
And expense to the poor

The testimony in golden jewels...

Behold how good...

The walls never needed signs and wonders
They spoke for themselves
