Jeremiah 7:16-19

"17 Do you not see what they are doing in the towns of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem? 18 The children gather wood, the fathers light the fire, and the women knead the dough and make cakes to offer to the Queen of Heaven. They pour out drink offerings to other gods to arouse my anger. 19 But am I the one they are provoking? declares the Lord. Are they not rather harming themselves, to their own shame?" Jeremiah 7:16-19 (NIV)

G-d's love, mercy, and compassion for us is unrelenting.  We as the children of G-d often attempt to test His patience, and compassion for us.  Whether our testing comes from denial, anger, rebellion, or doubt, He will never leave us.  We ar His prized creation, and no amount of sin can keep us from His great love.  Indeed, He is the light source of the New Jerusalem, and He alone can conquer the darkness.  It is through Him that the old has passed away, and all things are made new.  It is through Him that we shed our filthy rags, and are robed in the clean white garments that He has sewn to fit perfectly our bodies and souls.

Blessed are You, O' L-rd, our G-d, King of the universe, who has set us apart from this world - and made us distinguishable from the rest because of His Great Love.  Baruch Haba B'Shem Adonai! Baruch Haba B'Shem Adonai! Blessed is He that comes in the Name of the L-rd...

An Amazing Book

This past weekend I was able to go to a youth retreat with five great friends, and made five new ones - three of which I had known for years, but had never gotten to know them.  Throughout the weekend I had been given the same prophetic word in various formats (scripture, drash, worship, music, and words from friends and strangers).

One of the biggest revelations of the weekend was the amazing Glory of G-d, and His willingness to share it with us - His children.  His beloved.

Part of my daily and nightly devotions for this month is the book of Isaiah, so complete with prophecy and relevant to many situations.. Enjoy!

Have a good night!
